Working Here

Working here is not easy or profitable
but it can be highly rewarding.

Like all supported living programs we can only offer modest wages and experience our share of turnover.

Our veteran staff, those who have stayed for several years, understand the power of the connection we make with those we serve, and understand the notion of “Essential Worker”. Because they are in real life.

Team members are expected and honored to act “as a family” for those we serve, considering every act as if “this is my brother/my sister”.

To get an idea of the talent at Merry Glen, visit our Staff Shining Stars page.

The Primal Bond: Merry Glen suffers from many of the same challenges facing long-term care providers everywhere. But we have the advantage of being close to the persons we serve. They and their families, not a corporation, are our “ultimate bosses”.

It is this expectation that staff offer that Primal Bond that sets us apart - the unbreakable and unending link between family members. Our services and training work to enhance that bond and replicate it.

Moving a loved one into a long-term living situation is one of the most difficult experiences a family faces and a loved one experiences. We do our best to make it a win for everyone.

Staff must undergo full FBI background checks and professional training delivered through state-approved providers. We are not a medical facility, so complex medical needs are not met here.

If this sounds like a place you may find a home, learn more here.
