Merry Glen is

the supported living program for the Parents’ Cooperative Society, Inc. Services have been delivered continuously since 1973 at a group community home in the Logan neighborhood of Spokane. As of May 2020, there are 15 loved ones at the main home and 2 other long-time loved ones receive services at a duplex in the West Central neighborhood. Merry Glen has a full roster of 41 direct care professionals who provide intimate, kind and social support 24/7 to our clients.

Merry Glen serves families with a Loved One who has a disability requiring residential services.

As a non-profit family cooperative (founded 1961), one of a handful in the country, we focus our resources where they belong, on those we serve. Our Loved Ones and their families are in charge while living in a setting small enough to be “home” but large enough to offer the specialized and professional services needed.

Merry Glen is a place of comfort, kindness, and opportunity for those who live with us–and those who work with us. Our team values–Kindness and Caring, Skills, Reliability, and Teamwork–shape our training, compensation, and appreciation for one another.

If your family is looking for an alternative living situation, a place where families matter and resources are concentrated on Loved Ones, please contact our director, Doug Overlock, at doug@merryglen.org or call us anytime at (509) 487-0232.
