Parents Cooperative Society for the Handicapped was established in 1961 by a small group of parents seeking an alternative to institutionalization for their children. Their aim was to provide within the community a high-quality residential care and training facility where close family ties are preserved and respected. Merry Glen Home and School has attained these goals consistently and with remarkable economy for over a quarter century.
